I'll only use mini spares when buying new as its hassle free shopping.
Parts fit right first time and if its faulty its changed without quiblle or fuss.

I have had the similiar problems, my last order they sent me was over three parcels as bits was out of stock and they sent me them as they came in stock. I didn't mind but they charged me three times for postage!! £27 in total.

Ive never had a problem with ordering off them, had to wait for a few bits but no problem, its to easy on hear for people to wreck a sellers reputation, instead of gobbing off on hear why not try phoning them to voice your problem. mini sport are a large well established company so they most be doing something right, why dont you lot try doing what they do for a living and see if you can do any better and please everyone

Point taken, but if Minispares can give customer satisfaction, why can't Minisport?

Ordered some stuff from MiniSport last Saturday afternoon online. Website said items were in stock, but that stocks were low. Box arrrived Wednesday containing everything I asked for. Nothing wrong with that.

Everyone's quick to give someone a kicking but you never hear about the stuff that works exactly as it should.

I've just emailed to cancel the outstanding item from my previous order. The bits that did arrive took about a fortnight. This last bit is seemingly never going to come! Fallen foul of the website showing in stock when in fact they don't have any.

Because some people actually care about what they do.

.....And others are a dangerous mix between being lazy, and just chasing a quick buck. In other words, they want to earn loads of money and be a top retailer, without putting the time, the effort and the investment in.

Agreed. but its not just retail companies.
they just dont seem to understand that Profit and customer care go hand in hand. Look after your customers and they will look after you. They just want a quick buck and dont think/care about repeat business.

a fair point but when you are fixing cars for a living and you receive poor service time after time with fruitless results from phone calls and end up behind on jobs because of their lack or service its not only costs time and money but can hurt busnesses reputation for slow service themselves - try doing mine and many others jobs for a living when that happens and see how great it feels . ive tried talking on the phone - pointless . half the time there is no "manager" in to speak to and if there ever was the chance to speak to one its too late by then - someone else down the line should of sorted it . in the motor industry if the supplier isnt up to scratch there is always 10 more to take their place who will rectify problems and as ive come to notice are cheaper for the same products and quality .

I went to mini sport last month with a list of things I needed. Luckily they are only half hour down the road so its easier for me to just pop down. Anyway when I got there I was served by a young fella called Tom Gould. He seemed very knowledgable and went through my list bit by bit. They did not have everything I needed in stock but because there sale was still on I decided to pay for the items that were not in stock and still receive the sale discount and was told that the items would be in within a few week. I think in total for everything I bought was £1500. I did mention to Tom about this thread and he did say he would pass the information on....Thats when my wife cornered him and said can you tell me why mini sport charged me £8 in postage for two £50 gift vouchers? It would seem when my wife bought the vouchers for my birthday they had charged her this amount online so she was not happy. Again Tom said he would look into it. Anyway on friday morning Tom contacted me on my mobile and said that by the end of the day he should have a set date for when the rest of my stuff will be in. By friday afternoon he had called me back to tell me the date which was the monday. I personally cant fault them but by the amount of complaints in this thread about them its clear they need to sort themselves out. Thankfully I have had no problems and the young fella Tom is a top fella who seemed to go that little bit further for his customer the rest of them in there seemed to be miserable buggers

Just got my Mini back from having new suspension and a 4-pot kit fitted at MiniSport, as well a selection of little things that had been pointed out at the last service. I have to say, I'm absolutely delighted - I was served by Tom too, and he's brilliant, obviously really cared about looking after me. They've even offered to adjust the height once the cones have settled, without charge - and I didn't even ask. I'm sure it's to be expected, but they've obviously looked after the car, indeed, when Tom left me a voicemail to say it was ready he said if I couldn't pick it up they'd put it inside for the night to ensure it was secure.

Stuff I've ordered from there too has been great, always getting phone calls to keep me updated.

As my parting comment - my Paddy Hopkirk brakes look ace :)
