I have a very similar clarke one and yes it works with a gun, but it does keep cutting in, I havn't noticed that making any difference but I'm not a pro, I've just sprayed mine no probsin all seriousness would the compressor work with a spray gun?

if you do buy it make sure it can run constantly and not have a duty cycle as that will really mess things up come spray time

personally i would not use it for spraying, i got a 100ltr tank and thats just about ok.

as already mentioned in a previous post, i painted my mini with the aldi equivalent, 25ltr cheapo compressor, and it come out like glass! and like someone already said, a bad workman always blames his tools, use what you have and can afford to there full advantage, theres always a way, even with the cheapest of tools etc
i once knew this bloke who painted his old volvo with a tin of thinned down brown gloss, and an old vaccuum hat had the blow option, and it would put alot of new paint jobs to shame! lol

good job im not a bad workman then

was just trying to point out that a compressor with a duty cycle makes things alot harder as you have to wait for it to cool down before it will run again and with a 25ltr tank it will be running pretty much all the time. i have no idea if that compressor has a duty cycle but its worth finding out first

just checked at my local LIDL and all the compressors are gone, just managed to grab the last compressor accessories pack but had to knock an OAP to the floor for it...................wow its serious on pension day....
told my dad about this compressor, he got one, just called me and said he had just laquered his
vw camper and it kept up with him, he said it was as good as his old twin pump compressor !!
probably due to the 2.5 hp motor. he also got the spray gun and said it has a good fan on it.
