What's the best way of removing a roof decal? I don't want to leave any marks.

normally using a heat gun and teasing it up as your applying the heat, be careful though as you will damage the paint if you get it too hot, dont keep the heat in one place either, move it around.

We have recenctly done this very thing!
1. Heat the vinyl up using a hairdryer and peel very carefully.
2. Use a solvent (white spirit, WD40) to remove any glue residue.
3. Wash the car with hot, soapy water.

a kettle of hot water (not boiling) will soften the vinyl and it can be peeled away from one corner. when it goes stiff again pour more water on and carry on peeling. worked for me on bonnet vinyls.

Yeahh .. gotta be the good old hair dryer.
I used it to remove my old Sprite decals. I just held the hair dryer over each letter for about 2 mins, then peeled it off with my fingers. Made it alot easier using a hair dryer, as it melts the glue stuff!
