This is my current setup, a weber 45 on a 1275 motor. The previous owner made up this linkage setup.

I was researching my options for a proper linkage setup, but was hoping for insight from you all as to what would be the best options.

Mini Spares lists these 2 options.

Mini Mania offers these 2 options.

The Mini Mania kits are a quite bit more expensive then the Mini Spares kits, but I was hoping that some of you could provide to direction as to what would be the best kit for me.

Thanks!

I've got the Weber LP4000 linkage on my car which is the same as your first Mini Mainia link. It gives a nice feel at the throttle peddle which was something I didn't get with my old home made set up which was way too light.

One thing I found on my Weber linkage is that the throttle arm in the kit would not let the throttle close completely so even when the tick over screw was wound right out the carb was left as if the tick over was set way to high. Not too much of a problem as it took 5 mins with a file on the throtle arm to sort it out, but I could have done without the two days with various idle jets trying to figure it out.

i had this on my 1330 and had the bonnet slightly raised because the arm would catch on the bonnet it would not hold it on but you could see it had dented the bonnet slightly so i raised it up a little

The original Weber one is much much much better than the Minispares kit. I have the Weber one on mine and its worth the £70 or whatever stupid amount it is! The pedal feel is great, it feels much firmer and responsive.

Thats odd, I have plenty of clearance. What inlet manifold are you using, is it a swan neck style that raises the carb up to clear the bulk head?
