Hi Guys n Dolls,

Popped to my local Halfords for a browse around tonight and noticed a new range of spray paints for plastic....

Has anyone used them for plastic trim, as I was thinking of trying them to spray clock surround and vent cases.

Cheers to the replies.....

If they are the PLASTICOAT spray paints then they are pretty good, Ive used them (not on a car) in my home give a good finish with little spraying knowledge

If thats the one that smells like pear drops when its drying, I used it on my Headlining (wanted to give the interior the dark look), was good though, gave a good finish

Hmmm thats handy to know that the paint works so well ...as just finishing building a centre console which i covered in grey vinyl and want to spray it black...do you need any special kind of cleaner to prep it prior to painting ? as i was just going to wipe over it with a good quality degreaser

There's quite a lot of stuff you can't use it for... It's for tools, service equipment etc.

I used mine recently and it got me nearly a fivers worth of bulbs for 20p )
