as above, need to know which size socket i need for the big flywheel bolt, so i can borrow one from work. If it helps, its bigger than a 34mm, which i use for driveshaft, steering wheel and crank pulley nuts. I cant measure the bolt as im at work at the mo, lol, Thanks if you can help me! :(

1 5/16" =33.33mm; the OP said has has tried a 34mm and the bolt is larger than that.

isn't pre-verto 1.5" ? - mine was... Get a 1.5" DEEP socket, such as this as it is good for balljoints as well! (1.5" = 38.1mm).

inch and a half does sound about right, ive got a 33mm that fits the other size bolts but this ones bigger, anyway, ive just borrowed a few sockets, so ill see what fits.

1 1/2" does the trick, just did one in car not to long ago.

Make sure you have the room for a deep socket. I know my deep socket with spanner was too long, had to go to a shorter socket.

What a shame, removed KAD 7lb. flywheel & backing plate & replaced with a heavier one.

Apologies for the incorrect information. 1.5" AF is correct. Just goes to show it's always better to physically check these things rather than just look up information!

Interesting that pikey7 and I both had the same (incorrect) figure.

You cannot have a 1.5" AF, its 1 1/2" AF. You have mixed metric with imperial.
