Having abit of a mare with removing the seam sealer on my mini.

I attacked it with a twisted knot gizmo on an angle grinder but i'm still left with bits and bobs the twisted knot wont reach. I did brake out a hammer and chisle but it just seems to absorb the impact.

Any better ideas or do I just battle through it with a chisel until it's gone?

Been ''tarting up''......well, kurusting parts of the engine bay and sticking some primer over it.

Painted over the seam sealer for now as im sort of just temporarily trying to stop the flow of rust over the winter so i can strip it back next year and do a proper job at it when i'v got abit more time than just two hours before work.

Thanks in advance,

- Rich

agreed, use the wire wheel for most of it then drag either a knife or a screw driver through the seams to get out the last bits

Warm it with a hair drier and it pretty much falls off with a light scrape. Do it every day at work
