Had a closer look at the door step and it was knacked!!
So pulled it off.
What a rusty mess!!
Nice new one in place..
Rusty seam and filled hole in the rear 1/4
Cut out and new metal in
Repaired the lower part of the inner flitch..
Most of the front floor is done now..
A small hole in the back turned into a much bigger hole!!!
And finally some of the rusty bits!!
Stay tuned!!!

I've completed the welding on the drivers side..
Inner sill repaired and painted..
Hole in rear floor repaired
Sill painted prior to fitting..
I've just bought some new arms for my spotwelder so was able to use that on the sill edge..
The gold paint is weld through primer
Outer sill welded on..
Pile of rusty bits removed from the drivers side!!
I won't seam seal and paint till I've done the passengers side.
So.........onto the passengers side..
Outer sill removed..
Crap crap crap crap!!!
Arse!!
Rear floor..
Nothing else for it, time for a BIG hole!!
Nothing was savelable, rotten as a pear.
With a bit of luck I'll get a good day on it tomorrow and should have most of the passengers side done.
Watch this space!!!!

Looking good. Clean and good reply; I'm jealous of the owner, to be honest; he'll definately have piece of mind over this car when it gets back to him.
Looking forward to next update!
Simon.
