well nothing really happened during the camping except that for the price i paid i did at least expect to have a shower with hot water or constant hot water to say the least, would also have liked to have a p*** in a toilet that was open and working and not having to run a few hundred yards holding my crutch because the boggs were locked and out of use.Is it because i`m an old cogger and like my comforts or am i being too choosy,i was`nt too happy about the 7.5 hour trip down on the friday that only took 3 hours to return home on sunday but that had nothing to do with the show,i will not be going next year!hold on, you lot are getting into a private convo here,
i want to know what the camping issues where?
come one spokeshave, what happened?

That just sounds like camping in general though. At the end of the day it is a Mini show, lots and lots of people went it must be mayhem to mantain the toilets aswell as SMOC do, aswell as the showers. To have running hot water in the middle of nowhere wasn't going to be easy, either.
Dont let these things put you off coming next year, you can get around them all somehow or another.

the showers, loos and that being on gravle was a good call really too, i remember being at shows before when they have been on grass, then comes the rain and it gets 10x worse, my gripe was the hills

We managed to knock somebody (I say we, I mean one person and I say somebody, it was another willing club member.. Lol) out with a keg..

I gotta say I have never been before and I really enjoyed it. Had a few funny moments. Watching Simon smash a fellow Basingstoke mini clubber round the head with a keg was pretty funny looking back. Although it was pretty dam scary at the time. I also enjoyed watching someone try and down 7 pints of milk and throwing up everywhere after 4. And I also enjoyed watching a curtain someone go ass over tit off the back of a chair and disappearing though the gazebo wall.
O yea and putting craigs tent on the toilet is up their with the funny moments. As well as putting rustys scaffolding pipe exhaust back on the car after it fell off in tescos car park using the only tool we had which was a wheel brace. Worth it though for joint 3rd place with a Bini.
Myself I cant wait until next year.

i guess thats it then, i`m just a moaning old git, hope you all enjoy next years show.Think back to the IMM- what were the bogs like there eh ? Total crap - pardon the pun ! I think SMOC did us proud as ever - they really know how to put on a show. I understand the shift from the hop farm at Paddock Wood - new owners were getting a tad greedy......the BMF ( British Motorcycle Fereration) pulled its GEMS rally out of there a few years back due to this too. Yeah great show and I'll definitely be going back for more next year
