ive been putting my stereo in again, but ive changed it around, ive mounted my amps on the back seat panel, and i'll put my cover panel back on. ive made a new parcle shelf too, my old one had 4 6x9's on it but the new one has just two, but with a big hole for a vent for the sub.
i'm painting the shelf green i think, just got it in primer tonight.
also ive been working on my seat, the seats that i got needed to be wider at the top and curl round me more, i changed it last year but never got to finish it, needed filling and painting, again i think i might go green with it.
you can see how much it is different to the other seat.
ive made some new subframes up for them too.
still got a good bit to do before the weekend,
need to repair my door that got bent round in the wind too

first up was a small rear spoiler the sits just above the boot lid, i didn't want something i couldn't take off so i couldn't have holes in the body to mount it.
i made if with one of my front spoilers and just cut and trimmed it down to fit,
anyway heres some pictures
ive wanted to make some new side skirts for a while, to give them a bit more shape.
ive made it the same way i did the old ones, with some sheet steel!
they sit a bit lower than the old ones, but they look too big at the moment, but they seem to shrink with you paint them in colour.
here it is without them fitted
here's a few pictures of it last year when i made the bonnet.
mot time last year, halfway through making my new arches and bonnet..

Well I just read this whole thread now I want to cry......if I can stance my mini anything remotely close to yours man I can die happy!
KUDOS man
Kind regards
Nathan
thanks, last year it was at it's lowest, but it knackered my pot joints so i had to lift it up a bit but know my brother has fitted two new one's, so that means i can drop it again think i might need a sump guard though, my sump was only about 1.5" off the floor.
Love the spoilers
i get mixed comments about them, on a standard mini they might look wrong, but on mine i think it suits it (down to the ground) ha ha.
but thanks

And yes I would probably suggest a sump guard my mates mk2 golf is lowered fully on coilovers and his sump smashes the ground.... it even rips up cats eyes!lol

it's just had its MOT so it was sat quite high on its suspension, so it needed lowering again.
also its a long drive from my house to brands, and our lass hates my seats, grp with no padding!!! so ive made a new seat subframe up for my old seat, i used the old subframe to make my new ones on the grp seats.
and ive been sorting some bits on the outside too.
i had taken to bumpers off to paint them, and cleaned the diffuser up to.
you can see my extended rear panel
ive painted the front grill surround too,
the new subframe i made
so onto dropping it!!
this was how high it was
to lower it i move the front coilovers up to the next hole on the mount and on the back i change the springs to harder and shorter spings.
new ride hight
before and after
