hello all, not had internet since january1!!!!!!!

since then ive restored a 95 mini mayfair for a friend, and done some work on my own mini.
i will get some pictures up soon, but for now i'll just tell you.
ive made a new bonnet from steel, using an old one, its now got a vent in it, almost like a gt40 style. i made some new bigger arches, some rear valance pieces that sit about 4" lowwer than the standard one, fitted some new GRP seats, and some other bits and bobs.
ive made it sit lowwer too, pics too follow.

I was having a look round the car at MITP. I love it. New arches are great. You managed to get some lovely tuck on those. Also think the new arches suit the rear defuser better. Keep up the great work!

thanks. i like the way the arches turned out, you can never tell what they will be like till there in colour, when there in primer they seem to be much bigger, then you paint them and they seem to shrink! same with the bonnet, i drove around with it in primer for weeks, and it seemed to be a bit big, but i like it now. the back end works better now with the valance forming around the diffuser.

i'm entering the concourse at minifest in a few weeks, so just doing abit of tidying up.
the front wings were just starting to bubble on the seams, so i'm doing that, and painting bits under the wings and bonnet to bring it back up again. i did alot of miles in winter last year, in the snow and ice, even drove to scotland for a weekend then too, so some bits need cleaning up again.
so after the next two shows i will be selling it, to start on my next project..........

i think the comments on the facebook page prove how good your car is!

but i agree than the new bonnet deserves a monster engine to be underneath

Digler absolutely amazing project! Well done to you for all your hard work, really payed off! May of slightly wet my pants at some of the pictures...

You could give us any information on how you move the gear linkage inside the car? I've never seen it done before on a mini.

Regards, Duncan
