if you want I can scan in a picture from a 1971 brochure showing the exact positioning..
one thing I will say though- there was no exact science to the positioning of these badges, BL being BL seemed to only bung them in sort-of similar positions.
Also, all 'A' panel badges I've seen/ had have been stuck on, not drilled.

Hi Hubba- that actually looks about right...

Thanks for that Boycie. Do the measurements match yours? Cause I have got Grp 2 arches on, it makes the badge look even more tucked away down the bottom of the A-panel. I purchased some original badges the other week and they have the pegs on the back so I suppose I could cut them off and stick a number plate sticker on the back. The scan of the brochure would be great. Cheers

This shows the rough position of the badges.
Also remember, there were two types-
One was blue on chrome (pictured) and the other sort-of chrome on blue like the ones on the pic you put up.
Also only 1970 to early '72 cars had them on both sides, after then, only the passenger side had a badge (now that REALLY is desperate cost cutting lol).
I'm not sure what dictates whether a car has either type of badge, I though the ones on the Aqua car were only fitted on the 1970-72 cars but my '75 has one, stuck on and looks like it's been there since new?

Thanks for that, Just put them on. looking at the pictures I did 150mm instead of 140mm. Looks good. Thanks againHere's a couple of scans from the 1971 publication 'The Fabulous Five Minis' (I'm a right sad sod 'because I collect early Mk3 Mini literature!)
