Hi, right my Rover 114GTa is a 95', Would this qualify for Classic Insurance as it's 15years old?
Also so i don't have to make another thread, if i was to become a TMF+ member would i be able to use the discount with my R100 instead of a Mini?
Thanks.

I have not seen an insurance form yet that asks for month as well as year of registration. I think they go by just year.

Not always, Son wanted to swap his classic mini insurance onto a 93 Mk3 Fiesta. Footman James fefused to accept the Fiesta as a classic. If you ask on here you will get a range of answers based on different peoples' experience, the only people who can answer accurately is the insurance company you wish to use.

Tommy13 is correct, some classic insurers class some cars as classics whereas others don't.
My uni housemate couldn't get insured on his '87 Fiesta XR2 on any classic car policy as they all refused to accept it as a classic.
The age of the car also differers between classic insurers. My dad goes with a company called Peter James, who only take accept car over 20 as classics (as well as needing to be a classic marque), whereas Footman James say its 15 years old.
Everywhere is different, you just need to phone around and see how all the companies available differ in policy.

Depends on the car.
For example, I am looking at insurance now. Footman James want me to have a pre 95 mini. Wont insure me on vauxhalls under 30 years of age and wont insure me on a 2Pug 205 less than 25 (i think).
Call up, most helpful insurance company iv ever come across. Infact, most helpful call centre i've ever come across.
