This is a bit off topic, but that bend in the blue silicon hose (the one coming off the radiator end of your heated inlet) looks way too tight, to the point that those hose appears to have has actually kinked, surely it cant be letting much water through like that? :D

But, I do like your idea of numbering your HT leads with increasing numbers of cable ties though, very clever!! (much more subtle than trying to write numbers on them with a marker pen)... might have to steal that idea myself!! :w00t:

Yea it is a bit kinked, I will sort it one day. Although I have tested it and can easily blow through without any problems at that level of kinkery.
I actually have some doubts as to how correct my cooling system is, so if anyone has any other suggestions I would be happy to hear them.
Thanks

Mine is plumbed in slightly differently with somewhat lower levels of "kinkery" (but that doesn't mean that it's right though either!) I'm not sure that my way wouldn't work on your car though, as I don't have that circular joint thing that you have plumbed in towards the front of your rad (sorry if I'm being thick, but what is that?) :w00t:

Hello All,

I import many of these from a company in China, and have sent several mini rads over there so that they can get an exact match. If you are looking at getting one of these let me know what type you are after and I will try and get you a better price from a company I know you can trust.

I have also worked with them in order to get some very high quality silicone hoses.

I am currently developing mini grills made from automotive plastic with them but they are a while off being ready.

Hope this helps. Kit

Could it be the hole for the electric auxillary fan sensor/sender unit that was fitted to the lower front edge of the standard spi/ late carb radiators?? Which if you didn't need, could also be used as a drain hole i suppose? :w00t:

im in new zealand . and we have had a run with these cheap ones. cost me $200 nzd .

i had one with my supercharged motor . it did 2000kms and then had a big hole in it . then i brought a nother one to replace it . and at the same time . the company took my one as a defected one so i got it replaced ,

but really if it was cheaper i would get one of the nice ones from mini spares

they are not that flash

If it involves the words "Ebay" + "China" then stay clear. I've been stung a few times. Never again.

Ok, if you have a laptop, turn it upside down and look at the manufacturers label!

Now throw it in the bin, because it was made in China !

Honestly, Chinese products are becoming much better quality, I sourced a lot of parts from China in my business and i can honestly say, a lot was better quality than original parts. Admittedly some where a lower standard but never failures.

China has had to improve their stuff because of worldwide demands and NO, I am not chinese =]

Really??? I thought you were

I'm thinking of getting one of these for my tuned smallbore, however like some of you. I'am a little apprehensive, and for 56 quid (postage included) its quite a big expense on the budget, for something that might not last. I would be really appreciated if you guys who have them could report back after about a months usage.

mine worked fine until i fitted an electric fan with those poke through plastic clips. two months down the line it rubbed its way through a fin and burst. my own fault really, i should have made a proper bracket. i have another chinese one on now and its brilliant. look at the shiny shiny!
