I was wondering if anyone knows how to wire up 4 spot lamps to this socket. Do people use the lead that comes from the plug to go to the 1st lamp and then cut off the excess of the lead and use this to link up the rest etc etc?
Hopefully one of you on here will be able to help me out.
Thanks, Evan.

Anyone?
Hi. Answer to your question is yes. Make sure you measure enough slack from the socket before you cut the cable then measure 3 equal lengths and simply wire your spot lights.
Just out of interest what lights are you wiring up? Any pictures you can upload?
I Purchased a NOS Lucas 3 pin socket and lead for a small fortune a while ago! My car is currently sitting on the drive waiting for some TLC but Ill post some pictures up hopefully soon and you can see my front spot light set up.

And I love that car, any chance you have more pictures of it, as I love the works minis and their replicas!
You can PM me, if you don't want to talk in public!

Hi, The cooper above is not my car unfortunately but I have more pictures.
With regards to the Headlamp bar you will have to get one made if you wanted it to look original, alternatively you can buy a stainless steel type which looks great from MiniSport or Minispares.

No Problem. Glad to be of help.WOW - Thank you for those pictures.
I'm currently building a cooper works type mini. Hopefully have it finished in a couple of months being realistic ??

Currently rebuilding the 1275 engine, Front and rear subframes and fitting New Heritage A Panels / Sills ect.
Cant afford a paint job at the moment but its not looking to shabby.
Will post some pictures when its done. Maybe a few of the engine subframes ect.

I have them as my wallpaper tooI used them as wallpaper, and to show people what I am looking for. I need the light bar brackets, and the light wiring, I have the female 5 pin plug, I need the 5 pin male portion.
PM me if you have either or know of where to get them.

Your best bet is Ebay for the wiring ect. Just a matter of looking weekly. Its tedious but you will be glad you did.
Good luck.
