Good luck with the painting, just started to read through this whole thing. Thats a very nice mini youve got there for £50, I also just baught one for the same amount but its not in very good nick at all, think im gonna end up striping it so if anyone wants any of parts i can always have a look. Anyway really good project and most of all enjoy

Cheers Mate, 2 things, crack on if you want to nick any ideas its a compliment, second.... flat boot? to be honest why not, its just for looks,will still have normal petrol tank with internal filling neck but no battery going to hide that elsewhere.

Have you decided on a windscreen/wind deflector design yet? Ie what size screen will you have?
Hi, yeah the plan is a simple one, 'make the screen tall enough to hold a tax disc' with the modification to the wind screen pillars will make for a simpler design
also to be tinted the rest to be decided, how do we say 'off the cuff'/ make it up as we go along
