Been working on the handbrake at the weekend oh what fun, no photos i'm afraid, got so miffed with the handbrake couldn't be bothered

Have you sorted your handbrake yet? ive used a M7 threaded bar instead of the front cable on my shorty, infinite (well sort of) adjustment & no slack.
Also is that Yukon grey?

Just read the hole thread, im liking the style & personal touches. Are those golf headlamps? straight forward fit?

Yes they are golf headlamps and i didn't think it was to hard to get them to fit, i used mini headlamp bowl and inner rim, i cut the inner ring and added an extra section i also moved the mounting that hold it all together, looks pretty cool but and this is a big but the outer ring/rim will have to be cut and made bigger as at the moment it wont fit. and if i cut them and weld them then i'll have to paint them but i like the chrome look
as for the handbrake i'm half way through sorting that one using the same method as you.
paint wise the colour is tweed Grey

i've fitted one headlamp just to see what they looked like

i did manage to get a bit done this month, painting the radiator cowling and fan,oh and finished the speedo, i'm not sure i like the speedo, what do you think


where possible all nuts and bolts in engine bay will be replaced with stainless
