Got the complete frame tacked up now, with the rear supports cut and tacked:

They have a horizontal cross brace to keep the rigid, and this will also be used for various brackets:

Finally i cut the seat and engine supports, however i can't weld these in until i source a seat and engine, so i can determine the distance between them:

Next week i should be sourcing a bike so i can get cracking on mounting the engine and sorting the rear axle and drivetrain, am also bidding on some quad wheels and tires on shebay

You can tell you are a student due to the crate of empty bottles that is in some of the photos. Have to say, it is the way to do it. Spent a few evening building my front sub frame for my vauxhall conversion while drinking. I may have done a better job if I hadn't been but ah well

I do like how that at no point on my welders safety instructions does it say that you must not be intoxicated while using it.

Common sense! I'm a student.

Saying that though, I know a guy who cut through a Calor gas bottle with an acetylene torch to make a barbecue. He is still alive and was sober when he did it. It actually made a pretty good barbecue.

Hopefully over christmas i should have a bike as i've been speaking to a few people on my course that are into their bikes, and theyve given me some contacts.
Still need to fully weld up the frame, so im sure i'll do that pretty soon.
