Our mini was "born" in 1996 as an expatriate, lived in Germany until 2000, and now resident in Norway. Goes under the name of "Tyttebær", meaning (Scandinavian) cranberry (tastier & smaller than the American ones you get in Tesco) as it is small and red.

Would add a photo, but the only ones I have are from last winter when the car was under 1,5 metres of snow, so not much but white to see...

mine is called meeba as in amoeba the single cell organism.... just because they are both small

Mines called Wilf because the number plate starts with W. I only named him after much persuation from my mum saying he must have a name

Well, after the first couple of months of ownership I called my Mini AlAn. Purely down to the amount of times I called for assistance from the AA. Damned electrical gremlins. Nothing a new starter solenoid and fusebox didn't sort though.

Note. Removing fusebox and cleaning it up regularly is well worth doing. When fitted it looked fine, but on removal, all the connectors at the back (that you can't see when fitted) were corroded to hell.

I finally found names for both of mine the other week.
My daily hack is called Toby and my project is called Huey. Both names sort of came from the number plates, they are a B reg and an H reg respectively.

ive got Dixie and Gizmo, i guess its something to do with being D and G reg cars, but not really sure on that, they just sort of popped into my head.

mines pinki, and im the brain haha, its all in the plate, PNK16W...original plate, was red originally but a previous owner coloured her like a porsche pink not pure girl pink, anyhow i like it, its different!! and im married! before you think otherwise!! haha
