Getting there mate. Taking shape nicley. Wheels good cool. Where you get them from?

Need to get nine finished but not touched it for a while with bad weather etc


thanks not far to go now the wheels there from mini sport my mam and dad bought me them for Christmas.

i must have been out of my head i was in the garage when we had that foot and a half of snow :P

thanks wouldn't have been able to do it with out help from my dad on the body work welding and the spraying and my mum and nanan for the interior work

anyway been in the garage over the past few days got the engine running with the exhaust on makes a lovely noise i have also got the brake fluid in today and found out that i need a new rear wheel cylinder before any more major progress can be made so wont be doing much on the car over the next few days so minght help out with the interior work anyway piccy time

the exhaust had to get some more clamps to fit it as the ones in the fitting kit was too small

thanks dean the exhaust is a stainless rc40 from the local mini specilst the size is 1.75 inch bore going into the back box and the pipe out of the back of the box is nearly 2.5 inch but with the curl on the end it is nearly 3 inch :)

cheers mate i have a stainless rc40 system from cooper free flow back stainless link pipe and mild steel rc40 1.75 back box single box very raspy/fruilty how does urs sound do u want to get up a vid cheers

hi is yours a single box system or a twin box as mine is the single box system makes a lovely tone

If you can afford to get this mini this far, you don't need ema. Get a job.

Nice looking car though.


Hi i have got the mini to this stage because i have very help full parents who help me out a lot. also i at the moment with sixth form and building the car i don't have time to also get a job. and at the moment no one around here is employing apart from mcdonalds. thanks for the comment about the car


If your parents have the good fortune to be able to help you with this build, then you don't need ema. I'm at 6th form, I have a mini (and have to work on it a lot), and work about 10-20 hours a week.

Mini's looking good though, what's the spec on the engine?
