just a bit of advice don't buy the first one you see have a look at a few i could have had a 86 mini Mayfair for £400 from local mini specialist and it needed a hell of a lot more work than this one and i only paid £100 for her good old flebay

thanks for that i am picking a 998 engine up in the morn and going to rebuild it until i get a shell to sort then will go in once it is painted

good luck with the shell and do you have a local engine machinist they can help source all the parts for the engine rebuild i spent just under or over £200 cant remember exactly on rebuilding the engine its a lot but i know there quality part's and not any old crap

i am the same but a i am an apprentice i can afford it and as i am training to be a mechanic and my dad knows his mechanics ans we have restored a few cars so we will be fine

its always better to fit quality parts in the long run even better if you known someone who can get them cheaper :D

Hi all been busy again today got the doors fitted. pulled her out side for pic's guide coated the primer and flatted her down all nice and smooth now. i will be masking her up again tomorrow for the final coat's of primer.

she looks like a mini again :D

hi the colour will be a citroen blue also i had the engine running in July but with a below the minimum oil so i haven't had it running since but hopefully when its all painted ill get some oil in and get it running again

good progress like usual

been in garage today got all the wheels off and put her on axle stands to get her all masked up for the final coats of primer that may be going on tomorrow.

Hi all i have been busy again got the car all in primer and i have also started my other carbon mirror back. also i have been spending i have bought a 1275 Austin metro that will be my new engine in a few years anyway here are the pics.
