thanks :( i can see the light at the end of the tunnel now and the carbon is a hard art to master but i think im getting there lol

hi all i have been busy again i have finished my first carbon mirror back but now i have turned my attention to the car its self by next Saturday i would like the car in its first coat of primer. so today i grit blasted the bottom of the passenger side door to kill the rust and also the inside of my new bonnet to again kill the rust ill let the pics do the rest of the talking

thanks got a bot cold in the garage this morning so just stone chipped the sill and left it but i forgot to take pics will take some tomorrow

a bit more zinc on the rear bumper lip as surface rust was coming back through

have been busy again i am now concentrating on getting the shell all primered up and then finishing the doors and bonnet. anyway today me and my dad have got all the filler on the shell looking OK so i rubbed all the shell down pulled it outside to blow and hover all the dust out and then i pulled it back in and i have started to mask it up ready for the primer.

looks good at the moment and will look great at the end but i hope my mini wont take 3 years as im nearlyable to drive and i need mine lol but keep up the good work

thanks this has only taken 3 years up to now as i bought the car when i was only 13 and im hoping to have it finished for next april just before my 17th :thumbsup:

hi me and my dad have been busy again this morning i finished off the masking up and then panel wiped all the car after this we started mixing the self etching primer after about a hour spraying this afternoon this is how she looks now enjoy

Hi all had a early finish at sixth form today so me and my dad got cracking in the garage first drilling the hole's in the door and pillars for my electric windows and central locking wires after that we had a final check around the door's and the bonnet and then primered them up. when the doors were dryish i stone chipped the insides and then flatted the boot we primered last week here are pics of today's progress hopefully i will get the doors on tomorrow and pull her out for some pic's :D
