what sort of steering wheel have you got? liking the look of it :)
I think its a Austin morris one from the 70's it fits straight one without a boss only seen one fitted in one other mini and that was the one mine came out of

before i started
stripped final bits of the carbs
mounted on mg metro head (before more polishing)
both dash pot's polished up

Well done on the rebuild A nice Mini you have there you should feel proud
thank you iam thinking of trying show and shine at a few shows this year but with how car looks at moment doubt that will happen its very mucky damm lorries

thank you hugh yours is coming along how long you reckon until its done? going to be rebuilding the carbs soon so will be fitted in the not too distant future , again thank you :)
hi all not done much to the car this week apart from using it needs a good was now and the back end raising up also sprung a fuel leak from the carb so is using a fair amount of fuel so will need to get that swapped asap might do it tomorrow so might have some pics

will be skinning a pair to be fitted onto my car hopefully the end of the week so keep a eye out for a update

You've managed to learn a great deal from doing this project. I was at L2B last year but can't recall seeing your one there. There were just so many Minis. I was at the very back at Crystal Palace but by morning I had lost my ticket so had to park in the Marina multi-story in Brighton. D'oh! Fingers crossed I don't do the same this year.
Props to you and your mums, dads and nanan's hard work! It's come out a treat!
P.S. I love your "hi all" at the start of almost every post. So friendly.

hi everyone,i havnt updated this thread in a long while as not much had changed on rusty up until march this year when she was involved in a pretty heavy accident wish resulted in the front subframe been pushed back a good couple of inches, rusty has now been repaired and is currently been put back together again. heres afew pics of what rusty has been through
ill get some more up to date pictures put up

hi everyone been on with putting some more bits back on today got most of interior in now, not be long till she is back on the road. anyway heres some pics of the progress
front wheel looks to be in the same position as it was before the accident going to measure gap and compare it to clubby
