Hey, totally stunning build, Have just read all 17 pages!!!!. I am just planning a project, so all the information will be a great help.

You don't fancy making another pair of the carbon door scoops do you? I'd love to have some on my mini :)

I think its a Austin morris one from the 70's it fits straight one without a boss only seen one fitted in one other mini and that was the one mine came out of

Liam, just been through your thread again. What attention to detail. Like polishing these dash-pots. That is such a smashing wee car.

All the best, Hugh

hi all. didnt get any pics of the carb change as i have been busy with making composite parts and sixth form work etc. had a little play with a scrap of carbon fibre i had left earlier, was only planning for it to be a practice part but would look great lacquered and finished off. its a shame the lugs that hold it in have broken on one of the stems.

the result of one afternoon of boredom

I have a 998 myself ('79 1000) and decided to have a look through a project thread. I've not really checked out this part of the forum until now and decided to read this thread the whole way through. I am SO jealous you have a garage and a pit! And I just LOVE Capri's so top marks for having a Mini and a Capri in the household!

You've managed to learn a great deal from doing this project. I was at L2B last year but can't recall seeing your one there. There were just so many Minis. I was at the very back at Crystal Palace but by morning I had lost my ticket so had to park in the Marina multi-story in Brighton. D'oh! Fingers crossed I don't do the same this year.

Props to you and your mums, dads and nanan's hard work! It's come out a treat!

P.S. I love your "hi all" at the start of almost every post. So friendly. :D
