Hi, what a great build you have got.

I started from the first page and was interested to see what you have done, but when i got to here i was dissapointed becuase there wasnt anymore more for me to see. I really enjoyed going through this build (I have to be honest and say i didnt read all the comments tho).

I am really looking forward to see what happens next.

great build!

thanks means a lot when people say that Ive had people say ull never finish it and my uncle "it will never run again" well we've proved them wrong

this is a real good car whe you look at what it was

thanks josh yes looking through the old pics makes me wonder was i mad but its worked out from day one my dad knew it wasn't going to be easy but it wasn't totally dead "if door pillars are ok then were ok". had a proper look around the car after the flying wheel incident :D and it didn't look too bad we knew the rear subframe and the front end was shot and probably the sills and they were but there was no really nasty surprises apart from the jacking points in the sills, the bulkhead was a little surface pitted but no rot

hi all more progress today got the pins on the bonnet and it fitting after a little jiggling with the hammer :D . After that we fitted the rivet nuts to the doors who says you need a rivet nut gun then bolted the finished mirror and the half finished mirror on they look ok just need a little more polishing will see what they look like outside tomorrow, also my mum finished off the drivers side door card yesterday so fitted the pod to it and mounted it in looks spot on and ties the seats in better now. anyway enough from me here's a few pics

Just read this from start to finish, awesome job you've done! If someone gave me a rusty shell I wouldn't have a clue what the hell to do with it, but that's a really stunning car, hope to see you and the car at a show some day.

hi the arches that will be going on the car are standard ones and they just cover the wheels so are legal they will be fitted in a few days when the paint has full set

hi all been busy today getting the handbrake and brakes working first we got the handbrake sorted and then bled the brakes again pulled the car out of the garage and the rear brakes locked up as soon as my dad touched the pedal so me and my dad took it for a drive around the block as we thought it was the pistons on the front callipers that was the problem. it didn't work every time we had to brake the rear wheels just locked and nothing on the front. so back in the garage and jacked the front up fired it up and the run the front wheels the brakes were working a little, and then my dad had a brain wave about that when id fitted the servo that i minght have cocked up piping it up and i had. i had put the rear brake pipe to the where the front brake pipe should go so all the braking pressure that should have been on the front wheels was going to the back and the rear pressure was going to the front. after another bleed tomorrow the brakes should now work fine  . now got a few pics of the other days work of all the back end built up

Looking good man.

Quick question where did you get the trim bits on the end of the mustauche? (sp)
The bit that goes from the grill ends to the arch?

Cheers
