Looking really good! How do the speakers sound mounted in the front like that. I'd love front speakers but want them hidden!

hi the speaker's in the front sound pretty good but it has given me a bit of a headache with the dash as I'm going to have to use the radio hole so i can get in to fasten the dash in when I'm fitting it other than that it was pretty straight forward to put the speakers there.

hi all had a few hours in the garage earlier got a rear speaker board cut but I'm not 100% happy with it so I minght make a new one anyway here's a few pics

got my other mirror lacquered

hi all me and my dad have been busy. we went to p and l minis saturday to get all of the bits to finish off the car got home change the door seal etc then we came to the boot. We put the seal on to the body and tried to shut the boot and it wouldn't :) so after some force and a rethink we got it to shut but we dinted the boot, after this i thought about trying the old boot lid fitted it and with a few spacers it shut fine. The boot has a little rot around where the number plate fasteners had been so out came the grinder and welder. while welding i got a few good flashes from my dad welding the very thin metal so ended up with arch eye  so not a very good saturday. so had a day off the car Sunday and then on Monday i feteld back the welds filled up a few pin holes and then started to fill the boot. while the filler was drying i started to take the other 998 apart and spilt oil everywhere :-. so after mopping up oil i had the boot looking OK. so primered the boot on Tuesday and started to flat my dash. then today got the the boot and dash painted going to give them a few days to properly dry and then flat, polish and fit. After finishing the painting i started to sort out my arches fill the holes for the front seams and smooth them will hopefully get them in primer tomorrow. Anyway pics time

Hi, what a great build you have got.

I started from the first page and was interested to see what you have done, but when i got to here i was dissapointed becuase there wasnt anymore more for me to see. I really enjoyed going through this build (I have to be honest and say i didnt read all the comments tho).

I am really looking forward to see what happens next.

great build! :D
