URGENT HELP NEEDED, MY WIPERS DONT WORK.

I stupidly used the wipers with snow on the windscreen and now they dont work and at exactly the same time the heater has stopped working, anyone got any ideas as i carnt drive it at all now, any advice welcome.

check the mechanical connectionts to the wiper system, when you operate them can you hear the sound of the motor? regarding the heater, chack your water system level and also that you definatly have antifreeze!

Have you blown a fuse? The fusebox on a Mk1 Metro is behind the switches to the right of the steerin column. The whole switch panel is hinged. Undo two screws and it drops down. The fuses are the same glass ones a Mini uses.

i love early metros ,i have a slammed orange metro it certainly puts smiles on peoples faces, just dont get chance to use it anymore because my mini is done, its sitting in my unit wasting tax and test, if anyone fancys one , il let it go to a new home

Fixed it just the fuse and replacing that has fixed the heater too, thank you for everyones advice.

i am now the owner of the orange metro paul (aka mk2 1430cc) was selling!

loving it so far, although i have had to pump the suspension up as it was silly!

Hi, my oil pressure warning light keeps coming on, Intermittently, checked the level and its fine, anyone got any ideas?

There's a pressure valve thing on the left hand side of the engine as you look in the bonnet.
take it apart, and make sure it's nice and clean as if there's crap in there it can cause issues.

Does the light come on while driving straight, or round RH corners?
