Is that last picture from Retro Rides? I swear thats the same picture that made me spend days looking for a Metty on ebay. Really want one in beige or a white K10 Micra to use as a fun little run around at the moment.

Do i remember hearing that the Viva's being sold Oli?

Ye, its making me hurry up getting some 12x5 superlights and getting mine lowered so it looks as good as that.

Also do you think i should sell my old wheels and how much do you think i would get they are 100% straight all tyres almost new and wheels need only a small amount of paint.

Picked up some parts for the metro, the audio will be added tomorrow hopefully with some more pics, probably doing some more painting this weekend and will try to get some pictures of that and upto date pics of the metro. The gasket set,valve stem oil seals and oil change etc.. with probably be done next weekend.











I said when i got the metro that i woudnt spend lots of money on it but i carnt help myself, not spent that much so far but im very tempted by these on ebay.

Stereo fitted will get some pics up later and i am probably going to get a new front speaker from halfords, going to look at those wheels today. The engine work has been penciled in for next weekend.
Hopefully get some more paint work done tomorrow.

Only got one pic during the fitting of the stereo, not the best becasue its off my phone.

Not the best pics cus it was really sunny but you get the idea.

Also i got them wheels off ebay, going to fit them this weekend after all the engine work is done which i am going to start on friday evening.
I will try and remember to get some pictures during the work.



They are really in as new condition with Yokohama A539 165/60/12 tyres which have done less than 400 miles from new.

Upto date pics but still not got my minilites on, they will be on this weekend and i will take some pics.
Excuse the oil patch that will also be sorted this weekend. It makes me laugh everytime i notice it only has one mirror.

Really Nice Metro
Nice to see one being used as is rarther than broken up for spares just to keep a mini on the Road

I dont have a problem peeps using metro bits from a scrapper to keep a Mini going but too many scrap perfectly good cars that should be kept as they are in their own rights

Nice to see an Auto one too you can join the Automatic Mini Register we have members with Metro,1100,s etc we welcome all with A series Autos were a friendly bunch and its a great place to get "auto" advice

The Metro Owners Club are also very friendly and helpful

Engine work done minus the luminetion electronic ignition which i will fit this weekend car does not smoke any more and the oil leak has been fixed.
I will add some pics of the engine work and my car with the new wheels tomorrow.
Looking forward to mini in the park on Sunday.

is there any bits you need as i working in a scrap yard this week an we just had a f reg austin metro city come in obv im having the engine an rad but if you need any bits let me know asap
