Its true about the fun factor I sold a impreza as its more fun doing 40mph in a mini than it was 120mph I'm a impreza. If they take the *yellow human water* saying its slow take them out in it on some nice country roads you'll soon see them coming around

2 or 3 roundabouts should do it.

seen quite a few 998 well 998s rebored that have produced just under 100 bhp, there was one in a mini magazine a couple of months back that made 87 bhp at the wheels I think it was.

minis are the daddy and to be honest any mini 998 or 1275 can be given alot of poke with a head rework and getting it set up my someone who knows about the science behind power stoiciometric ratio and all

i wanted to do this but my dads friend who has been tunning minis for years and he said its no point going to all that trouble for the same price you could do the same to a 1275,
but i think he is really old school
so he convinced me to get a 1275 gt and rebore it to 1340 with large valve head with half race cam and all that so hearing all this about the 998 i think this build is going to be scary fast
