The welding took weeks, partly because I was learning as I went along and partly because there was sooo much of it !


Spraying was also learned as I went along. I started off by roller painting with Rustoleum, but tried spraying the stuff and was pretty pleased with how it went on and how forgiving it is to a novice sprayer.


I do have stacks more fotos of the subframe being cleaned and painted and the engine being cleaned aswell, but I'll maybe post some of them later. These pictures are about a year old now so I'll maybe take some more up to date ones as like all mini owners I've done a few more bits to it. Cant leave it alone

Cheers mate. The colour is the closest I could find in the Rustoleum range to "old English white". It is called Ivory, or RAL 1015. I just thought it goes really well with the black roof (smooth black hammerite) and the chrome.looks boss mate thats what colour i think im goin to do mine do you mind if i ask what colour white is that?
