My pickup has been on the road for a few months now, but this week i got an old hard drive fixed for my computer and found some old pre resto pictures on it. Hope these can be a bit of inspiration for anyone who needs it because this resto was done on an absolute tiny budget.

Sorry, sorry. I took these pictures to show my camber and re-sprayed wheels but they give the overall idea. There are loads more pictures but the uploader reckons i'm over my upload limit

The welding took weeks, partly because I was learning as I went along and partly because there was sooo much of it !

Spraying was also learned as I went along. I started off by roller painting with Rustoleum, but tried spraying the stuff and was pretty pleased with how it went on and how forgiving it is to a novice sprayer.

I do have stacks more fotos of the subframe being cleaned and painted and the engine being cleaned aswell, but I'll maybe post some of them later. These pictures are about a year old now so I'll maybe take some more up to date ones as like all mini owners I've done a few more bits to it. Cant leave it alone

Cheers mate. The colour is the closest I could find in the Rustoleum range to "old English white". It is called Ivory, or RAL 1015. I just thought it goes really well with the black roof (smooth black hammerite) and the chrome.

Don't know whether I'm having a brain fart but are you wipers facing the wrong way?

Lovely pickup though, I'm so jealous! You've done it proud.
