what are these ? ? ?
They go around the fuel tank filler neck and protect the paint from petrol drips. This is "Mini 360"'s picture (hope you don't mind me using it), he has his neck inside the boot.

Cut off, hole in body and tank welded up, hole cut in tank and then neck welded on. Much cleaner look :)
