Its RAL 6019, peppermint green....
It's a lot like the colour of copper once it has aged so should go well with all my other parts! still keeping the pinstriping idea too.
dropping the frame off tonight so no going back!

Frame back from powder coaters friday night.
And lots of pic of it fully built, aside form the bottom bracket, cranks and pedals which are proving to be awkward as the bike is so old and german that standard parts won't fit the diameter of the bearing cups. I'm working with the guys at my local bike shop to get this done.... asap! I want to ride!
As usual all comments and advice are always welcomed!

Wish i had one of those to ride around while my Minis off the road for a while.
looks great and nice to look at something other than a mini for once
Thanks dude! its gonna be my transport around Pompey while i do my last year of diploma!
I think i'd prefer it with straight forks myself but the powdercoat quality looks really good . My mate has a fixed gear and it's brilliant.
Edit: Didn't mean to put a downer on your bike by the way .
No worries, the forks are an aquired taste! haha i've been looking at getting some straight forks but I'm gonna wait until these ones get really old and i get bored of them!
I'll just keep popping in here and stare at the pictures for a while, i absolutely love it
build one!!! fleabay! as long as you have a good bike shop near you then anything is possible! but i would say go for something like your mate raliegh or a uk frame as its been a nightmare trying to find parts to fit the old german bottom...

Eying one up on eBay quite local to me as we speak, seems to have a lot of interest though but hopefully it doesn't go up much more.
