As said MG owners club is where my Dad used to get most of his parts.

You say there are bits you don't understand yet. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I know my way around an MGB pretty well.

We was talking about the V8 today, he cant afford to buy BP atm, even at its low price.

Although, if we cannot get this engine going, im going to convince him that a mazda 1.8 with twin webbers on it is a brilliant idea.

A VTEC also drops in nicely, saw one in an MGA a few weeks back.

SR20 DET has been done in US, few MX5 powered ones over here that seems to work really well - no tunnel mods or bulkhead so no IVA! Bonus!

I'm doing mine on a shoestring so its taking me ages. as shifty said - moneypits. one wing is £250......madness.

What are the plans for it?

He wants to restore it so he can drive it. Been sat on his drive for 4 years not going anywhere.
