Well everyone, here's my latest purchase! got it last thursday from a lad which between him and his father have 3 mk1 fiesta's!
the engine was rebuilt in '08, had the head skimmed, and little things to make it that little bit quicker, aswell as weight saving with no handbrake, alternator, things like that, here it is from last year to now.
last year, at racing, in the pits.
when we went to pick it up :
gave him a wash, painted the grille, added some graphics, took all the duct tape off and ripped the ones off I don't need, and it stands like this now :
^^ hand painted by myself (that's why its poo )
^^bonnet is SLIGHTLY hanging
^^ also hand painted by me
more pictures as and when!

Oh right cool. It's brilliant to see Mini's like this still about in motorsport. It's the reason why it's such a great loved car, it could do anything and win!
Going by the grill are you based in Essex?

Awesome, certainly looks well used! Used to be in the oval stock Junior Minis, was a right hoot. Just a pain in the rear end when it breaks and you have to spend hours upon hours (and normally plenty of money!) fixing the thing up.
Have fun with it! And just remember, non-contact is only written in the rule book for insurance purposes, a little nudge here and there never hurt anyone
