Looks 300% stronger now you've got the hang of it!
It's really good to see someone on a forum not get snotty and really listen and learn! Glad I flagged it up now rather than just let you get on with it as it was and i'm sure you're glad too!
Mild steel Mig welding really is a piece of wee to do once you get to grips with the settings as you've found out!

AS you can see from the pics i have been sent the wrong gasket set which is holding up my progress with getting the exhaust fitted etc.

You've clearly been busy, drive shafts and an exhaust all made up, any of it on yet?
Also, with the horrible position of the oil filter, is some kind of remote filter an option?

by the way, maybe its because i'm in the tropics, but it might be a good idea to fit a shroud around that radiator fan as the air will experience centrefugal force outward and not be entirely directed thru your radiator

great progress as usual bro. i've not been on much and i've missed a bunch!

Beat me to it, the fan will defo be more efficient if it's boxed in. You can probably find something suitable in the scrappers. A trick I've found useful - search "radiator fan" on Ebay to get a first idea - much quicker than popping all those bonnets to find anything promising.
