Hi everyone,
I have just bought the windscreen trim fitting tool and have tried to seperate the rubbers but it doesn't seem to work ?
Has anyone pleasee got any tips on how to use this and how to fit the silver middle trim ?

plenty of wd40, slide it in at 45 degrees to the windscreen (it will be tight to get in) then push the beading in the gap and carry on, it does help if one person feeds the silver trim, and person is slowly moving the fillet tool
edit: oh and start at the opposite side to the join on the windscreen rubber, you should have placed the windscreen rubber join at the bottom, then the fillet join at the top

I used car shampoo in a spray bottle. I found that I had to angle the tool and then move it side to side as I fed the silver strip in with my thumb. It took a few goes to get it right, but when I did the rest went in really quickly and easily.

Thanks for your replies.
In the end (after much swearing) my wife helped me and I have a very sore hand today.
I used washing up liquid which I have since found out that I shouldn't have !!!! Oops........

something tells me that i need a new windscreen seal and strip. i took my entine locking strip out by use of a flat head and put it back in with my thumbs. maybe mine are slightly worn hehe
