Just Bought A Nikki Carb

What manifold is that? also is the bolt patternt symetrical? would look great if you spun the carb round 180 so you could see it if u peeked through the gap at the rear of the bonnet. Or find a second bonnet and cut a hole in it for those silly days haha

i have seen them mounted the other way around on that manifold but the throttle linkage etc is on the back, not sure how much clearance i get on the front.

also, i undid all the nuts holding it to the manifold and it still wouldnt budge. its been on there for a couple of decades. did want to pull it off because at least i know theres no air leaks.

ill get a picture tomorrow if i get chance. ill have to removed the old inlet manifold fromthe engine bay too. i left the heated part of it plumber in because the existing pipe wouldnt reach round the back of this carb.


youll have to come round and see it sometime adam. but make sure you come in the mini lol

I didn't, last I recall was trying it on my engine and it was just revving like crazy but I had other stuff to concentrate on since so it sat there looking pretty
