picked up the new 1275 engine for her yesterday, 37k miles on the clock, sweet as a nut! took it for a test drive (on private land) was great fun, the metro it came from was pretty much stripped to an engine, wheels, seats and a shell... it was bare, no doors, most windows gone, no bonnet etc! sweet little motor, bit cold though! heres a video...
this was on private land, i dont encourage this test driving on public roads, it would be dangerous, stupid, and youd likely to get the book thrown at you! keep it safe kids!

Have you still got the Metro, any chance you could pull the rear seat retaining latches off for me?

all the red tape are labels to show which wire goes to which component! did all the labelling without looking in the manual, or on the car!

cheers man! its taking abit longer than id hoped, but thats only due to the weather holding me up, ive book all of next week off work to finish the bodywork off and get it stripped down ready for its respray, then its basically just fitting up ready for L2B!
the wiring on yours does look a little spaghetti-fied lol but its very simple to sort out (especially with the more basic loom like im fitting!)
