need to get some tie rod bushes soon, the ones fitted are perished beyond any usefullness, so gonna poly bush em i think, then its onto the passenger side floor pan and a-panel! also the rear subframe is pretty bad, had lots of bad repairs and very hefty welding with an arc welder by the look it! but i have a spare rear subby in stock which ill refurb and fit in the next few weeks (after mitp of course!) and also repair the heal board as im predicting sheared bolts, and rusted out heal board ends...... onwards and upwards!

after several thoughts on selling valerie, i decided to keep her and finish off my project, but now with a twist, i bought a cut and shut van shell from minidream on here (cheers nick) for £100, which was dismantled with a couple of angle grinders the load bed which was sold and covered the cost of buying the shell in the 1st place! the sides will be going onto valerie, to make her into a clubman van!

after a hard days graft today ive replaced the passenger footwell and flitch panel, got the scuttle closing panel to put in, repair the top of the wing (had to cut it to gain access to the top of the flitch) a-panel to fit, and if i get time, i will begin to fit the van sides

i also have a MED 1380 engine to drop in her, give the old girl a fiesty heart i also have a rear beam axle to fit along with spax coil overs, which i should be fitting next weekend, along with tubbing and turreting the rear arches to accomodate the new coils and to really slam her ass to the ground lol

watch this space! (will try get pics up tomorrow of the work carried out so far!)

another update, sadly no pictures either! camera decided to break..again! lol passenger floor is all done now, a-panel is on, scuttle closing panel all sorted, top of the wing repaired etc etc should be painting the floor in rubberised paint tomorrow after work, then once this is dry on goes the stone chip for another layer pf protection! will try get some pics as soon as i can get hold of another camera! next weekend... fitting van sides, beam axle and coil overs

i gotta work hard, its gotta be ready for london to brighton, and ive got pretty much a complete rebuild still to do! lol its goin back its original vermillion orange with a black stripe going across the bonnet should look mint as a clubby van!

my coilovers and wing mirrors arrived today will look at fitting them at the weekend, i gotta tubb and turret the rear arches though as my coilovers aint the offset mounted ones, ive heard lots of bad things about offset mounted coils, so went for a set of straight spax height and dampening adjustable coilovers! just gotta find some mild steel tube suitable to do my turrets.

need to source some bonnet pins for my carbon fibre bonnet, and some clubby rear doors (fibreglass preferably to save weight on the rear)

will try and get some pics up asap when my cameras sorted!
