wont be doing any more work other than maintenance until after mitp now, (other than new wheels and exhaust) as i dont want to be caught short and now be able to get to mitp without my mini! wouldnt be right!
what do you think so far of the work carried out by myself? not bad ay!

think your doing a great job cant wait to see it in person. im in the same sitiuaton as you well i was until i snapped a bolt i no have to replace both the front shock mounts and the bolts are stuck and need drilling and re taping

cheers mate! what bolts do you mean? the 4 11mm-7/16th shock mount bolts? you might not have to drill them out, they are little flat metal bars that are tapped, if your lucky, they fall out when u take the bolts out/snap them lol all u'd have to do is find some more, or make your own!
bought myself some nice shiney refurbished 6x10 wellers from fleabay today, with next day delivery! heres a pic...
should look sweet, gonna fit my new falken tyres tomorrow, fit the wheels to the estate n whack on the group 6 arches i bought! happy days!

wicked mate for uploadin them other pics, as everyone can see what im still up against lol ill do it in stages, as its my only current transport to work, see mates etc, as the missus has decided the family car is now HER car and im not allowed to drive it as i have the mini... im not complainin! lol
there are still a few little bits to sort on the drivers side before the respray, but nothing thats gonna take much work, gonna whack some hi-lows on the back tonight, wheels and arches to follow tomorrow, then off to see my mates in birmingham!

just a quick mock up of how my wheels and arches will look (hopefully should all be fitted today, this is not the wellers ill be using, but gloss black ones! only used this one to make sure the wheels sat right in the arches etc)

my new wheels arrived on time as planned, had my new tyres and arches already.... how cool does it look!
