Hi..yeah im well pleased with the extra space...all the cars in one place is a bonus. Haggis is tartan red. The paint has gone a bit flat over the winter so he needs a good polish. The clubman is old english white..

So today was spent in the cave working on the Mini's, First job was to clean up the half leather seats that came out of the purple mini and fit them In Haggis, They were minging and it took three blasts and 5 hours with the upholstery cleaner to get them presentable...

Posted Image

I need to find some black rear seetbelts for Haggis tho'.

Next job was to fit the console...What an absolute pig of a job to get it to fit without squeeking!!

Posted Image

I then cleaned up the walnut dash, Looks great!!

Posted Image

But now I need some advice as to which order to fit the clocks..What do you think?

Posted Image

And which steering wheel should I fit??

Posted Image

Or...

Posted Image

I think the second one might be a bit to bling for the Walnut dash...But I quite like it..

clock in the middle and the oil pressure gauge where you can see it the best!!

and fit the 4 spoke steering wheel............it looks more retro

the 3 spoke is too modern for a classic mini.

Right then I adjusted the dash as recommended, and fitted the speedo and rev counter bits. Can you get chrome surounds for the air vent thingys. I think thant might look a bit better than the black..

Posted Image

And during the night, some speedo fairys came and adjusted the mileage reading to be the same as the old speedo...

Posted Image

And yes that is the correct reading..under 5000 miles..

I have had a change of heart and decided that its more important to see the water temperature than the volts..So a phone call to Demon Tweeks who emptied my wallet, and sent me a smiths gauge with a calibrated sender and voltage regulator..

I like this set up better..

Posted Image

And while Ihad my wallet open I bought some bling For Haggis..
