u'r car would be an spi so an mpi pump wouldnt work as they work at different pressures

Do you know the MPI pressure ?, I think I remember hearing 18 psi for the SPI ?, and what amp fuse is correct ?, could you please explain what an MPI pump would do in an SPI ?, it runs normal, except I blew the fuse, the original problem didn't occur until around 30 miles of driving, I haven't gone that far yet for fear of getting stranded again, the thought was the old pump was overheating when it was not immersed in fuel, a couple times I filled up the tank when it did it and it would run normal again, later it would do it on a full tank, so I swapped pumps, I wrote down the different pump numbers but I can't find them right now.
