How old is his son? If only his family could look at this thread , even though it would be very sad , it would show how much TMF loved him.

Its been a few hours since i read this, even tho i never met darryl i felt i knew him as i have been on the forum so long now.
I am so sad this has happened my thoughs can only be with his family and only when something bad happens we realise how amazing this forum and every member is.

His wife has been online at various time through-out the day as well as leaving a message over on the South wales Mini club forum. I expect they already know how much of a legend he is anyway mate.

I am very shocked, it was Taffy's promotion of the Mini on the internet that got me involved again in the Mini scene after a 5 year abscence. We exchanged video and comment with each other on Youtube for the last several years and I was only talking to him the other day about one of his latest videos...He as a valued Mini Man with always be missed but never forgotten...

so shocked by this, i loved the vids and links taffy posted. he made me so much more interested in the history of the mini. he was so devoted and friendly, a legend of a man! i think replacing the mini at the top with his is a brilliant idea. rest in peace man, you will be missed.

What an absolute shock! I couldn’t believe what I was reading. Although I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting him, he always came across as a very nice bloke willing to take out the time to share with others. My deepest condolences to Darryl’s family. Shine on bud, this one's for you

Very shocked to read this. I have only been involved in the forum for less than a year and I already knew how much of a legend he was. He give me some great advice and encouragement. Such a sad loss when we lose friends.
