Perhaps there could be a mini run organised around his faviourite drive in honour of him making it an every year thing for a charity of his familys choice?
Or maybe a picture of his mini in the calendar?
Think all of the suggestions from people are fitting tribute for such a great man.

i've been thinking the same, he always spoke fondly of the mountain road that he liked to throw the mini into the corners, it looks over his home. the road is called Bwlch-y-clawdd Rd

Sorry but a ban is a ban. There is also a Facebook page where non-TMF members can leave tributes.

Utterly, utterly shocked - Such sad news. I have never, ever known anyone with such a passion and wealth of knowledge on a subject - He was such a genuine person & willing to help anyone - He really was a true inspiration to everyone.

Such sad news. I only met Darryl once, but he had given me loads of advice before I bought my Mini over 6 years ago, and was a real help in my decision to buy the one I did. When I was looking for a Mini I saw he was active on a forum somewhere so I PM'd with some questions, he didn't know me from Adam but was so helpful and full of advice, always happy to answer my questions and full of passion for the Mini.

My thoughts are with your family Darryl, you will be missed.
