Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away to the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other,That, we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used to. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effect. Without the trace of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same that it ever was. There is absolute unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you. For an interval. Somewhere. Very near. Just around the corner. All is well.

Im based up in Newcastle, but if you need someone with a DSLR to come and get some photos of the car then my mini should be finished in a week or two, and i couldn’t think of a better and more purposeful first outing for it! And same goes for a procession if it goes ahead, comments on a forum are all well and good, but i couldnt think of a more meaningful gesture than fans and followers from all over the UK coming together to show our condolences.
Rest in peace my friend.

There's not much I can say other than to echo the thoughts already in here.
Taffy was a true enthusiast. This enthusiasm shone through with all of his help and his willingness to advise one and all. This forum, the whole mini scene will really miss you.
My thoughts are with his family and friends. May you rest in piece, Taffy.
Truly shocked, can't believe I've read about this. I wish I'd had the chance to meet you in person.
