cheers mate lol luckily there were no insects to get stuck in it this time either! although a ladybird did try to get jiggy with it... :) but overall im pleased with how its turned out! :) jus gotta wait for the paint to fully hardnen, polish it up, and fit the lights etc back in, then mot it n ship it back off to birmingham to my mom! (but i bet she wont have had it 2 weeks and it will be for sale...shes always buyin n sellin cars lol)

just a few more pics to show todays progress! the paint has hardened enough to allow me to fit the lights etc back in, put the grill on etc....

i know the bonnet still needs painting, but its slowly coming together nicely!

Might want to get some tyre black or something on those tyres and get rubbing the paint off the chrome bonnet strip

thanks for the comments! the chrome bonnet strip is gonna be replaced with a new grill kit anyways, as the grill isnt the best condition anyways :) same with the tyres, they havnt seen any road action for 12 years, so are pretty damn perished lol cant wait to get it finished, not bad for a £50 rustoleum spray job!

I love the look of new trim against a freshly painted car.
The black rubber strip on the door step looks superb against the painted sill and door!

right, no updated this in awhile, but its very close to completion, just have to bleed the brakes, check all the lights and electrics work, give it a service and get it mot'd!

got them from ebay for about £50, but the seller im sure was huddersfield mini spares?

Aaaa cool, i think thats where i'll buy them fron anyway. One more question... do you know what wheel nuts your using? I've got standard tapered nuts from my alloys and i'm not sure they are 100% safe..

the wheel nuts are just the standard nuts from the steel wheels, as the wellers use standard nuts and no need to buy any special fitted ones
