edit: just realised you were on about the rubber sucker feet, but still 170 for a roof rack is a lot of money, shame really as they are lovely roof racks

All this talks about stealing roof racks is wrong. I had a nice bespoke made roof rack, costing me a fair bob or 2. some one thought they deserved it more than me so stole it off the car from out the front of my house while i was sleeping. Cannot describe how gutted i was as i can't afford to get another the same made.


never said i stole it....

it was in a skip at my University....

Never said you did. There are people in the thread saying " I knew I should have stole it at the show " etc, etc. I know they are joking but if someone ever did have it stolen then they have made themselves look a bit suspicious.

i used a 4 walking stick rubbers for my roof rack,u can pick them up at most cheap markets :D Dean

If you got a retro looking mini then get a retro looking rack, I got a '93 standardish looking mini so just went for a modern Thule rack from halfords

the wheels are chrome 100 spoke lowrider wire wheels. they are not light weight in any way weighing in at 3 stone a corner :D



i bet their fun to clean, lol, been there, spent two whole days polishing wire wheels for a concours e-type jaguar at work!

Check out auto jumbles, mine was second hand and I just adapted it a bit then painted it OEW, cost LESS than 5 quid!!!
