There are those that will argue both ways.

If you have the time and can stand to have the kit in your house while building but unable to play; then kit.

If you are a little inpatient and do not have much time. Then Pre-build. The way I saw it, I would eventually tinker anyway.

Where di you get the shell from mate? upon seeing that clubman shell further in the thread, i had naughty thaughts about making a clubman estate  get the countryman, and the clubman, cut the fronts off both and swap them, use superglue or plastic glue to glue the fronts on and there u go, a clubman estate :dontgetit:

You could also make a rep of your clubvan lewis :withstupid:

ABC Hobby. That's where to get the shell from, might not work just cutting and shutting, but if your going to give it a shot, your best bet would be using the fixing kits you can get to repair shells.

Have A Look Here and you may find something near you under the 1/12th Electric. I don't know what clubs do what but I looked into it a while ago and some of them just do oval racing and others do a banger racing style.

Perhaps at shows we should bring our RC Cars along and have some races or showing off of them :(

I hit my M03 into a curb hard today...

Bent the bit of plastic that turns the front wheels, where can I get spares?

Have you got a picture of the part? I might have one in my boxes of Tamiya spares.

i am actually in the process of making my own clubman estate rc shell from 1mm lexan, using a plaster cast of the countryman shell, and building up the front with body filler... hopefully get it finished soon and ready for vacuum forming
