Hello guys

I registered on the forum here a short while ago and havent been very active. So here is something I have been up to which may interest you.

To explain the post below. I am the Chairman of the Mini Fanatics Club in Cape Town in South Africa.

The concept behind this shoot is to have marketing material for Mini Fanatics when I post up the flyer and market our first ever official Breakfast Run.

The Photoshoot - The idea with the new and old is to show future members that we are a club that welcomes both the new and classic Mini. I think we pulled this off very well. The locations were fantastic and in my opinion truly went well with the definition of what MINI is. Fun, social, glamorous and yet secretly deceptive and funky.

Enough talk. A few teasers!

I love them.

Thank you very much Croy (Owner of the red JCW) for coming along. Without your Mini this whole concept and shoot would not be possible. You were great to work with and a lot of your ideas contributed to these pictures.

The rest of my Photography featuring some of the other Mini Shoots I have done: http://photobucket.c...ratePhotography

So what you guys think?

Thanks

The reason for my Mini always being behind is because we tried a couple of shots with mine in front and to be fair... Well... They didnt look good.

For the sakes of a decent photo I was happy to let mine go to the back. I also likes how it almost seems as if my Mini is just one step behind the new Mini. Its like Tom and Jerry. If that makes sense?

I assume that this being a "Classic" Mini forum that you guys dont really like the new MINI very much? Why call it a Bini?

Aaah ok. Im just curious.

The people with Classic Mini's around my way dont seem very appreciative of the new MINI. I dont understand why though. Having driven every new MINI available and having a classic Mini myself I think they are very very alike. I can post a news article I did on the new one if you guys want to read it? Also has some photography in it.

So its a bit like the arguments between MK1 GTI and MK6 GTI owners of a Volkswagen forum. Usually very entertaining.

I have some pictures I did with some Mini's on the track and at our last run. Would it be seen as spamming if I posted all of them up? I will create a separate topic for each event... Think there is about 4 or so.

But thats only New MINI's.

Thank you guys for the comments.
