Bonnet and reflective. I get points for trying to meet the criteria, right?

I would have in my opinion had one without a border and had it shorter :) But thats just preference.

Interesting topic, has anyone any experience with back/silver plates on a later mini? I have a 95 cooper, really tempted to go for black/silver plates!

yeah, I put on the contraversal black/white plates but got advised both formally and informally in the nicest possible way to remove em, thus decided to become a little cheeky and put on the bonnet ones ........touch wood haven't had any probs as of yet....

It's letter of the law vs what police will enforce.

I've been driving an Impreza around for 5 months with NO front plate. Before that it has a bonnet plate since it had been imported in 2007.

I attempted to put a square bonnet plate on yesterday, I couldn't get it crease free so I ended up getting annoyed and ripping it off
