was what I was referring to, but MX5's actually had them on the front bumper/nose cone ;) TVR's however (although I could see them selling a car that wasn't 100% legal )

This thread is pathetic. The stick-on plates on the bonnet have been illegal since before the Mini was introduced, and at one time prosecutions were frequent. I know of at least one police force who are prosecuting people if their number plates are dirty, so how would you stand if stopped by them? Why do so many people here insist on breaking the law?

Never had a problem with having the bonnet one only but I'm aware I'm risking it!
